Maihar is a proposed district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Maihar is known for the temple of the revered mother goddess Sharda situated on Trikuta hill.  Maa Sharda Devi Temple: Maihar is known for the Maa Sharda Devi temple (around of 502 A.D.), situated at the top of Trikut hill which is around 5 km from the railway station. There are 1,063 steps to reach the top of the hill. Along with stairs, there is a ropeway for the convenience of the pilgrim's developed government authorities.

Salur is on the banks of River Vegavathi at 18.5333°N 83.2167°E. It has an average elevation of 118 metres (387 ft). It is bounded by Makkuva, Bobbili, Ramabhadrapuram and Pachipenta mandals of Andhra Pradesh state.

Puri is a city and a Municipality in the state of Odisha in eastern India. It is the district headquarters of Puri district and is situated on the Bay of Bengal, 60 kilometres (37 mi) south of the state capital of Bhubaneswar. It is also known as Sri Jagannatha Dhama after the 12th-century Jagannatha Temple located in the city. It is one of the original Char Dham pilgrimage sites for Hindus.

      Roorkee is a city in North India and a Municipal Corporation in the Haridwar district of state Uttarakhand, India. It is spread over a flat terrain under Sivalik Hills of Himalayas. The city is developed on the banks of Ganges Canal, its dominant feature, which flows from north–south through middle of the city. 

       



Roorkee is home to Asia's first engineering college Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, formerly known as Thomson College of Civil Engineering. Roorkee is also known for the Roorkee Cantonment, one of the country's oldest military establishment and the headquarters of Bengal Engineer Group since 1853. Roorkee has unique distinction as the first train in the country ran between Roorkee and Piran Kaliyar on 22 December 1851.

Haridwar

 Haridwar (HARI KA DWAR) is a city Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, India. With a population of 228,832 in 2011, it is the second largest city in the state and the largest in the district.


The city is situated on the right bank of the Ganga river, at the foothills of the Shivalik ranges (Maidani).                 Haridwar is regarded as a holy place for Hindus, hosting important religious events and serving as a gateway to several prominent places of worship.

Mussoorie is a Hill station and a municipal board in the Dehradun District of the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. 
        It is about 35 kilometres (22 mi) from the state capital of Dehradun and 290 km (180 mi) north of the national capital of New Delhi. 
        The hill station is in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range. The adjoining town of Landour, which includes a military cantonment, is considered part of 'greater Mussoorie', as are the townships of Barlowganj and Jharipani.
